Massage for Relaxation - $85/60 minutes, $115/90 minutes
During the session, the guest lays on a massage table in a quiet, comforting environment. Dim lighting and soft music contribute to the peaceful atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for worries and stress to melt away. The therapist applies gentle pressure to the body, smoothly manipulating the muscle tissue. The careful rubbing and kneading of the body's outer tissue layers promotes complete relaxation of both the mind and body.
Deep Tissue/Sports Massage - $85/60 minutes, $115/90 minutes
Deep tissue massage targets the deep layers of connective tissue and muscle throughout the body. The massage focuses on defined areas of pain and tension. Injuries or chronic muscle tension can cause adhesions, more commonly referred to as knots, to form in the tendons, ligaments and muscles. Deep tissue massage breaks down the adhesions to restore natural movement and reduce pain.
Cupping - $20
A therapy in which heated glass cups are applied to the skin
along the meridians of the body, creating suction as a way of
stimulating the flow of energy.
Treatment length approx. 20 minutes.
Tui-na Acupressure - $20
Tui-na is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy, often used in conjunction with acupuncture, to promote circulation, relieve pain and improve mobility. Often involves pressing, grasping and stimulation of acupressure points.
Treatment length approx. 10 minutes.
Moxibustion - $20
Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials, typically made from Chinese mugwort, are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.
Treatment length approx. 15 minutes.
